CalFresh Extension Of Temporary Increase To Maximum Allotments

Please see the county letter below that includes more information on what is summarized below:
The extension of the temporary 15% CalFresh benefit increase through September 30, 2021. (CDSS is in the process of updating the income inserts and we’ll share those when they become available.)
The extension of the temporary minimum benefit increase from $16 to $19 for households of 1-2 people through September 30, 2021.
The extension of federal PUC payments (EDD refers to PUC as PAC, it’s the extra $300/week) through September 6, 2021. PUC/PAC must be excluded from income in CF through October 31, 2021.
The extension of PUA for those who don’t otherwise qualify for unemployment benefits through September 6, 2021. PUA is countable unearned income in CF.
The treatment of payments made by the IRS (including recovery rebates, advance refunds, child tax credits). These payments are not considered income the month they are received, or assets for 12 months following receipt.
